Fantastic series of videos contained in this section, very informative on a wide range of topics and as always very well presented in great detail. I'm in the early stages of a replica North Alaskan retrieval kayak and although their will be differences in some of my build the simple (and not so simple made simple by Brian) transferable skills I've picked up here have me very glad I stumbled upon Cape Falcon on YouTube.

Everything is explained in its smallest details. There is no way to go wrong if you watch the videos from start to end paying attention to every comment Brian makes. Any step you could make a mistake he warns you by making everything perfectly clear. My congratulations for the exceptional quality to these courses.

I simply can't think how you could make these videos more clear, helpful or honest. I myself was a teacher in both classroom and later in the outdoors and I would certainly be proud if I thought my teaching was as good as yours. Thank you.

So far, it's brilliant. This isn't just a step by step guide, follow the bouncing ball and boat comes out at the end. These plans are taking me through an educational journey and the end product will simply reflect what I've learned along the way. This is a wonderful approach to teaching, I'm loving this.

This is a well-conceived, carefully executed video series that shows in detail the numerous steps involved in building a skin on frame kayak. Schulz is extremely methodical in his instruction, often offering helpful segments on how to fix builder errors.
